Letter from an MPM Leader

MPM Power Leader Speaks...

I just got a great letter from L.J. W.. The book he refers to in this email just might be something with unparalleled power that will help you build your business. It might also just be coming this week... :) ~ Ginny

I was on the Family Chat on Monday night and you referred to the book coming out this week - and the leaders who have contributed. My wife and I have been exceptionally busy changing our lives. My last day at my full time job is this Friday...after over 15 years in Information Technology and Project Management, I have decided that my path in life no longer includes "Corporate America." With all of the internal and external change going on for us, we have had little time for anything else.

This morning, however, my internal voice started screaming at me to sit down and send you a note in response to this request, so here goes...

Here are some of the things we are doing to build our business:
* we sent e-mail announcements / invitations to all the people we had e-mail addresses for
* we came up with and registered (through our mall of course!) a few catchy, fun, memorable, or meaningful domain names for our mall (ie. RebatesMyWay.com, RainingRebates.com, ChecksOnTheWay.com, etc.)
* we posted to various online classified sites using our domain names
* we use our domain names in all of our marketing (ie. flyers, postcards, online advertising, e-mail signatures, etc)
* we hand out flyers and/or postcards to the people we interact with throughout our day (I just handed one to the guy fertilizing our lawn this morning)

The one marketing effort that has been the most productive for us, however, has been to use craigslist.org to share the business and invite people to My Power Mall.

Craigslist is no big secret...it is the biggest, most popular free classified site on the internet. It is finding "non-standard" ways to use craigslist and being persistent enough in our actions to produce results that has been the challenge and the source of our success. The specific strategies that have worked for us so far are:
* posting ads in the "small biz" section of craigslist (This requires both creativity and persistence over time)

* responding to other people's ads that have the phrase "it's ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests" listed at the bottom of their ad
--> This can be both time consuming and frustrating, but it is very important !
--> If you respond to ads that say "it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests" then you will be SPAMMING them...don't do it !
Note that you will experience "dry spells" and that they sometimes last for many days or weeks. This is where faith and consistent action come into play. You simply never know when your consistent actions will suddenly begin to yield results. One thing is for sure. If you stop trying...it won't produce any results !!

These two craigslist strategies have worked very well for us, but there are countless other ways to use craigslist to help you share the wonders of MPM with others. There are many dozens of different categories available and if you can find the right message for any one or two of those categories, then you will have found a way to produce steady long-term growth for your MPM business !

After months of consistent action...we have 121 malls in our frontline and over 1400 in our entire network. With over $43,000 in total sales and nearly $400 dollars in commissions, we know that the actions we are taking today are building our financial freedom for the future !!

Well...I know I'm getting these to you at the 11th hour, but I hope it's not too late !!
